RESERVES MATCH REPORT vs MACQUARIE UNI WARRIORS
The reserves welcomed back a raft of players, including gun midfielder Chris Grafy Graf, ruck Greg Stretch Allen, and utilities Doug Dougy Linnett and Mick Yeenis Yee, fresh from his Euro Trip. These 4 players will only serve to strengthen the magoos as they strive for the double chance. The game started at break neck speed, as both teams fought for early ascendency, with the Jets forwards unable to capitalise on the delivery from their rovers, as the Warriors defence spoiled mark after mark. The Jets broke out to a 20 point lead until Mac Uni added two of their own late in the term, Nor-West leading at the first break 4.2 to 2.1. The Jets started to break away from the home team in the second, as the pace of Linnett, a sub 11sec 100metre runner, came to the fore, as he combined well with his opposite winger Daniel Lenny Langford to send the ball to key forwards Mark Uday Hibbins, Mick Lewie Lewis and the returning Stewart Pottsy Potts, who, once he gets his kicking boots on, will prove impossible to stop. The defence of Senior Coach Pete Pekay Kyle, Jesse Bruza Bray, Norm Guns Hanley and pocket Mat Lozza Laurence repelled many Warriors scoring efforts, keeping the dangerous Scott Uglow to only two goals for the match. The Jets held a three goal lead at half time, and with memories of the season defining draw against the Warriors serving as ammunition from Coaches Hibbins and Sharpe in the address, the Jets were keen to take all the points. The second half proved an arm wrestle, as both teams added 4 goals each, with the difference being the dominating combination of Graf and Allen, who were in a class of their own, and the highlight being the running goal from the pocket by the lightning quick Linnett, as the Jets held off the Warriors to finish 15 point winners,

SENIORS MATCH REPORT v MACQUARIE UNI WARRIORS
The Seniors took to the field confident of victory over a strong opponent, and the Warriors were serious about knocking off the equal table topping Jets, with their senior team lending some experience to curb the influence of some of Nor-West's match winners. The game started like circlework, with the ball reaching just about every square inch of the massive Uni Oval, as both teams found their feet. The Jets defensive unit combined well to stop most Warriors scoring efforts, and setting up the runners of Gerard Smitsy Smits, who has hit the form that has opposition coaches reaching for the Panadol, Josh Howie Howe and Owen Dildo Butcher, who sent the ball forward almost untouched, for forwards Aaron Snowy Clayden, and Ben Schmacko Willson, who snapped a terrific goal over his shoulder late in the quarter. The Jets conceded a late goal but held a 2 goal lead at the first break. The second quarter saw much of the same, with both teams throwing themselves at the ball with little regard for personal safety. Crumbing forward Chris Disco Kyle had his tooth go through his lip. effectively ending his lucrative modelling contract, but he wasn't finished yet, as he chased down one of Mac Uni's 'super-sub's' from the pocket to the square and ending his run with a crunching tackle, resulting in a team lifting goal. Nick General Milkins again led the way, as he tackled his way into the history books, with many a Warrior sure to wake up sore and regretting taking on the 'Homegrown Hero'. The Jets led the visitors by a narrow 14 points at half time, with the second half proving to be a tough encounter. Both teams locked their defences down on the second, as the Jets and Warriors could only manage 2 goals each, with Nor-West's experienced back six proving the difference, Paul Wanga Sherwood again leading the way off the back flank, showing why he is one of the competition's premier players, his raking left foot always finding a target. 'Wanga' was ably supported by Daniel Guffo Guthridge, in only his second senior game back from injury, as both players took some incredible marks around the back 50. Dale Boots Wellington again carried the ruck all day while Paul Spider Webster is overseas watching the Poms capitulation, Boots using his aerobic capacity to cover the whole ground, and still with plenty in the tank at games end. Also worth a mention was the huge goal from captain Casey Boft Wenselowski, who thumped home a goal from 55 metres, through the agency of the biggest glutes to ever come out of the Riverina. The Jets ground out a 14 point victory over a strengthened Warriors outfit, Clayden added 4 goals to take his season tally to 37, only two behind 'The Big Cat' Stephens from UNSW/ES, with Snowy keen to run him down over the final two weeks.
