SENIORS MATCH REPORT vs MACQUARIE UNIVERSITY WARRIORS
The Nor-West Jets regained a share of the Division Three ladder lead when they outlasted Macquarie University by 34 points for a crucial AFL Sydney Division Three victory at Bensons Lane on Saturday.
Enjoying their first appearance on the main Bensons Lane ground this season, the Jets were forced to work hard all day, but were able to extend their lead at every chance to win 12.12.84 to 8.2.50.
Mick Craigie was in brilliant touch at full forward after passing a late fitness test on his injured finger, taking several telling marks and kicking five goals as he took full advantage of an outstanding midfield display by second-gamer Ed Hollywood Sullivan (RGs Mug), Jack Sparrow Pascoe and Aaron Snowy Clayden, who kicked three goals of his own.
The Jets kicked three goals in no time into the wind in the first quarter, only to see the Warriors fight back to within six points at the break, but they took advantage of their first shot at the breeze with four goals to two for a comfortable 22-point advantage at the main break.
With Greg Stretch Allen playing his best senior game for the club in the ruck, Don Duck Waterston, Chris Disco Kyle and Adam Foxy Fox roaming around the ground picking up plenty of touches and Peter Pekay Kyle and Daniel Lenny Langford giving nothing away in defence, Nor-West held Mac Uni to just one goal in the third term and, with the match in the bag, rolled home to a comfortable win.

RESERVES MATCH REPORT vs MACQUARIE UNIVERSITY WARRIORS
Nor-West picked up its first premiership points for since round four when it roared home in the last term for a heartstopping draw in the early game.
It was a brave effort from the Jets to fight back after being dead and buried at the start of the last quarter, when they slipped 37 points behind after the Warriors kicked the first goal of the term.
Faced with a fourth straight loss, the home team finally awoke and started concentrating on the football instead of other things and it paid immediate dividends
With Mick Lewie Lewis (RGs Mug) setting the match alight all day, Steve Stav Davidson overcoming a troublesome hamstring and Ben Schmacko Willson providing a dominant target at full forward, the Jets piled on 6.7 to 1.0, squaring the scores from a great snap by Lewis with the last kick of the game.
Damien Cappa Shipley played his best game of the season at full back, Paul Boggy Sutcliffe dominated the ruck taps and Brad Langham provided drive through the middle in Ben Weatherhead's 50th game, but the Jets fell just short and have now gone a month without a victory, costing them their spot in the Division Four top four.
