Fresh from helping take out the Women's Division 1 Premiership, Annaleise Barton was awarded the James Medal for the Best and Fairest player in the Women's Division 1 competition.
Anna came a close second in 2018 and so this award is richly deserved. Anna is becoming an elite midfielder who reads the play exceptionally well. Her attack on the loose ball is second to none and she seems to have all the time in the world when she has possession. As with all of our girls, this is only Anna’s 3rd year of football!
Maddi Finch kicked the most goals in any division in Sydney Football – an incredible 43 - and so was awarded the Women’s Division 1 Goalkicking trophy. She also polled 5th in the James Medal count.
Marcus Pasfield won the McFarlane Medal for the Best and Fairest player in the Men's Platinum Reserves, also taking out the Goalkicking Trophy. Marcus is a mobile forward who plays above his height.
Brandon Webb polled equal 7th - a fantastic effort in his debut season.
Jordan Pidgeon narrowly missed out on the Sanders Medal, polling 2nd in the Men's Platinum Division count.
In the Under 19s, Lachlan Saunders was 2nd place with Owen Kociper equal ninth.
Congratulations to those who made the 10 top in their respective competition, and of course well done to the award winners. This is a great result for the club and well deserved by all.
