North
Shore headed to Sydney University for the first game to be played under
lights at Sydney Uni's No 1 Oval. Coming off a strong win against
Pennant Hills last week, it was a must win for North Shore if they were
to keep their finals hopes alive.
It
was a close game all day with both sides not willing to give the other
an inch. Chris Murphy was outstanding directing traffic in the
backline and he was well supported by wiley veteren Ryan Meldrum who
was a welcome return to the senior side.
But
it was the on ballers however who put their hand up and delivered the
win for North Shore with Lachlan Pryor, Adam Lord and Ben Attwood
standing up when they needed to be counted to deliver the Bomber
forwards with scoring opportunities. Of the forwards, Daniel Kulk
finished with 6 goals.
It was an important win for North Shore who need to continue their good mid-season form to force their way into the final five.

Shore had an important win against the strong Sydney University reserve
grade side. It what was a tight game for three quarters, unfortunately
Sydney University were found to have 19 players on the field early in
the last quarter following a head count their score up until that point
was removed.

U18 Premier Cup- North Shore Bears vs North Shore Bombers
It
was the first local derby for this season with the North Shore Bears
taking on the Bombers at Gore Hill Oval. To the credit of all the
boys, the game was played in great spirit and the Bombers got a break
on the Bears in the second quarter after the Bears were up by 3 points
at quarter time. For the Bears Cameron Gallo and Stephen Stapleton
were good and for the Bombers Levi Brain and Anthony Robertson.
