Round 10

Seniors

Round 10 saw North Shore head to Ern Holmes Oval in a must win clash on Saturday against competition front runners Pennant Hills. Sitting just out of the final five, North Shore needed a strong performance to get some confidence leading into the second half of the year and delivered this on all fronts producing a great performance to beat Pennant Hills by 46 points.

Bouyed by the return of Max Wilson and Lachlan Pryor from U18 NSW/ACT Rams duties, both boys delivered on the field with Max dominating the ruck contests and Lachlan outstanding in the middle providing centre clearances and hardness on the ball which Pennant Hills were unable to counter. Both boys were supported by Ben Attwood who was in everything and Chris Murphy who repelled everything the opposition sent forward. Daniel Kulk also pulled out a few tricks up forward and finished the day with 5 goals.

It was a confidence boosting win for the Bombers who showed form that if continued could see them play finals football in 2008.
