Seniors

North Shore continued there recent run of good form to take the points against Western Suburbs under lights at Henson Park on Saturday night. North Shore controlled the game from the outset but the slippery conditions made it difficult for the Bombers to break away from the determined Magpies. Once again without club vice-captain Ron Wason, the side was bouyed by the return of fellow vice-captain Adam Lord who set the tone for the game with hard tackling and desperate football all night. Cameron Holmes was outstanding from half back and played his best game of the year along with Adam Sutton and Brendan Fitzgerald. North Shore now head into the long weekend break knocking on the door of the final five.
