Seniors

In an impressive display of uncompromising powerful football, the UNSW-ES Bulldogs demolished the young North Shore side at Gore Hill on Saturday. With a noticeably physically older and stronger side than North Shore, UNSW-ES took the game up to North Shore from the first bounce but North Shore didn’t have the size to counter the strength and were comprehensively beaten on the day. In a positive note for North Shore, the club was buoyed by the impressive debut of Will Sierakowski and the continued good form of Under 18’s Chris Mackinnon and Teddy Strudwick. The future is certainly bright at North Shore and the North Shore faithful will need to be patient as the talented North Shore youngsters gain more senior experience and improve as the year progresses.

UNSW-ES Bulldogs were far too strong in reserve grade as well running away with a 109 point win. Alex Cowell and Rob Svenson tried hard all day but couldn’t get the better of the Bulldogs.
