Phillip makes his mark

HAWKESBURY Saints player Phillip Cross finished off a great year of representative football by playing in the Sydney Redbacks' under 18 premiership side last Sunday.
The Redbacks took out the Sydney Football League first division grand final 77-55 against North Shore at Macquarie University.

The Kurrajong resident (right) was one of a handful of under 15s to play for the Sydney Redbacks this season.

Earlier this year he lined up in the under 15 national schoolboys carnival in Victoria.

Phillip then went on to be selected to play in the inaugural Dakota Cup at Stadium Australia against Papua New Guinea, where he was named best-on-ground for Sydney. He has played 90 games for the Hawkesbury Saints.
