North Shore Heritage - Bears Recognition

Dear members and supporters,

North Shore has a long and proud history and a big part of that is represented in us being known as the North Shore Bears for many years. Under that name we won multiple premierships and it saw many a great player carry that name with honour.

Whilst we look to the future it is important that we ensure that the linkages to our successful past are not forgotten. To this end, in a small but significant acknowledgement of that, your club has decided to recognize the Bears era.

As of this season we will carry the Bears name on the back of our senior team jumpers (see below).

We hope that by doing this we not only recognize this important part of our history but also re-enforce to and remind current players of the successes we had and can hopefully replicate.

We invite you to come down and watch the boys go round in our Bears jumpers.
