Last Saturday saw the u18’s play Macquarie Uni in the Elimination final at Blacktown International Sports Park. The Jets managed to kick straight in the first qtr scoring 2 goals but trailed by 13 points at the first break. The 2nd qtr saw the Jets continue with their straight kicking to kick 4 straight by half-time but they had allowed Mac Uni to put on another 4 of their own in the 2nd qtr to be 27 down at the main break. Despite their courageous efforts the young Jets tried hard to peg the Warriors back a couple of time but eventually ran out of legs to go down by 46 points. In was a great effort this year by all the young Jets who played and the club is proud of your efforts

In perfect conditions at Henson Park the Nor-West Jets took on St George in the 1st semi final last Sunday. After a slow start the week before the Jets came out and clicked straight into gear, as PK slammed on the first goal of the game from outside 50, & with Ash marking everything coming his way early and good support from Gutho the Jets lead by 2 points at qtr time. The 2nd qtr was still tight with neither side really dominating and Shagga & Bayney were holding their own down back but the Dragons managed a couple of late goals to be up by 11 points at halftime. The game was still up for grabs at halftime but the Dragons managed to keep the Jets goalless in the second half despite the Jets having their chances and some scoreboard pressure many have seen momentum change , Clinchy ,Robbo & Wokka all put in valiant efforts but it was not enough but to the credit of the Jets they fought the game right out to the end.
