A bright young kid, always polite and respectful, an incredible talent on the paddock and the world at his feet.
Would always have a laugh at training with the kid I called 'Flanders', never too shy to ask for advice, be it footy or general life.
Absolutely shattered and feel I've lost a part of me. Even though a fair gap of years separated us, I still feel honoured to have played 9s with you last year, you could've at least kicked it to me!
Seeing all these posts on your wall and statuses dedicated to you today shows how much impact you had on everyone's lives.
A shining star in anything you applied yourself to, Nick Edwards, Flanders, Edo, Nicko, you will be missed, and the 2013 season will be played in your honour.
My favourite memories of you toying with those East Coast players at Bensons, having the ball on a string in a howling gale like you brought your own, they will stay with me forever. You were something special.
Steve, Liz, Josh, my heartfelt sympathies go out to you at your time of loss. The Hawkesbury just lost one of its finest. It was an honour to watch you grow from a precocious young talent in Saints gear into a fine young man in the Jets blue and white, the rest will remain unwritten but your name will always carry great weight down at Bensons.
