Jets fly off with points

NOR West Jets made an impressive start to the 2004 Sydney Football Association season, beating University of NSW\/Eastern Suburbs by 46 points.
The Jets controlled Saturday's game from the start, leading at every change at Bensons Lane.

They booted nine goals to five in the second half.

Spearhead Fraser Thompson was brilliant and kicked eight goals, beating several opponents along the way.

Aaron Clayden, Gerard Smits, Simon Vrieze, Ewan Stewart and Peter Kyle were among the Jets' best.

Goal kickers: F Thompson (8), C Laing (2), D Baban (2), L Bridges (2), G Smits, S Vrieze and E Stewart.
