Unfortunately, near the end of the first half, one of my player (Tarneit United) was dragged from behind and maliciously fouled by an Albion Rovers player. My player reacted by standing up and confronting the player for his action and at that point both players started shoving each other when the rest of the Albion Rover rushed in including the bench and a parent who was chasing one of our players, then the rest of my players also came in to defend our player. After separating both teams, the ref decided to give my player who was fouled and stood up to the player a red card and no red card to any of the Albion Rovers players who were involved in tearing a shirt and throwing punches at our players including the parent who was chasing and cursing at my players was allowed to stay on the field next to the Albion Rovers bench. It is important that you just not gloss over any of these complaints that we report because we cannot continue to receive abuse and absurd officiating week-in-week-out. My team ended playing the entire 2nd half with only 10 players vs 11; that was unfair and incorrect in teaching these young boys accountability when the other team and a parent instigate a fight and we end up paying for it, it is not acceptable at all.
