Both sides played some excellent football with first half seeing Ringwood City making the most of their changes and scoring some well positioned goals to lead at half time. The second half commenced with Clarinda coming out to even the score and moved and scored early with pressure still being applied. Substitutions made by Ringwood City changed the game with two goals being scored to lead 4-1. Clarinda continued to press and a mean deflection saw a late goal to Clarinda to bring scores to 4-2. Overall game was played in good spirit with some excellent football being executed.
