Official Match Report

A cold morning.
The teams had met before and we were now into the next round of repeat games. Time to see how we have been going. Much of the game was played in the striking half for Ashburton. The defence from Middle park from the goal keeper was great with several shots at goal coming form our team. There were some runs form Middle park which were quickly shut down and play resumed in te scoring half. Many of the Ashburton players were shifted around to different positions for the second hal into a more attacking line up. This seemed to work and Clancy was able to make 2 practically identical runs at the goal and kick two goals. Shawn kicked a goal in the first half. It was a well fought game and the lads have learned a lot during the season. With the focus now on accuracy and composure in the goal square the lads should do well again.
