Official Match Report

Thornbury Athletics players became very unruly when it became obvious that they were losing the match. I had to give player no 4 a yellow card off-pitch for unsporting behaviour and Player 5 a red card for abusing the referee after the final whistle was blown. The goalkeeper who was the Captain was a handful, leaving his goalpost several times to protest calls. At some point when I booked him for dissent and suggested he return to his goal post, he claimed I swore at him which was completely false
