called off the game in the 24th minute due to the hostility towards myself and the Pakenham team by Dandenong White Star. After a late body charge from no.7 Pakenham Howard Macauley on no.9 Dandenong White Star Andez Grad, a mass confrontation occurred in which heavy contact on Pakenham players by Dandenong White Star players. A punch was thrown from a unknown player in the pack of players striking no.7 Pakenham Howard Macauley in the back of the head, knocking him to the ground and leaving him in a semi-conscious state. Due to the hostilities by Dandenong White Star in this game I called the game off for player safety. Threats were made towards the Pakenham players and aggression shown towards myself from the first free kick given in the 2 minute.I had no appointed AR's so I was on my own to control this game. If I allowed the game to continue, then player safety was a real issue.
