Official Match Report

Unfortunately, this match should have been a very close contest but for the the official referee made three offside calls that were through on goal that our team had, even when the linesman from the other team and the opposing team themselves also can see it was not offside. The offside calls made our forwards play way back from the defenders and hesitated to attack for fear of being called offside overtime the ball was played forward. We talked to the ref at half time but he dismissed our concern and said he will call it how he sees it. Additionally, in the second half, a clear hand ball by the opposition team in our own half was not called by the ref and it lead to a goal. It is unfortunate that we continue to experience bad officiating especially when the players do their very best but the refs show bias; it is unfair.
