Moreland Eagles v Epping City

I started the game with 15 minutes delay as I raised my concerns in regards to the pitch.
The marking wasn’t visible at all, the grass was too long (I was told by home side Moreland Eagles) that the grass was cut yesterday), there was 25-30 meters on the left-hand side of the ground rubber left from the cricket season and also the grass on the goal line was that high I believe the ball couldn’t pass the goal line if shot was taken on the ground.
After I raised my concerns to both sides the decision was taken-the match to be played on the near ground.
The coach of the home team was complaining that the Moreland Council should take the responsibilities for the state of the pitch.
