Official Match Report

Match abandoned (prior to KO) due to bad lighting. Pitch had one light tower in each corner, with two globes on each. One of the towers blew a globe effectively making approximately one quarter of the pitch dangerous to play on. Coaches of both reserves teams were in agreeance that it posed a potential player hazard, despite both captains happy to play. President and Vice President of the home team were completely uderstanding of the decision and agreed that it was a player risk. They suggested postioning cars with their headlights pointing towards the ground which is of course not permitted. If conditions deteriorated further (fog started to set in), visibility would have been an even bigger concern. Seniors match was also called off at the same time.
