Point Cook disputes this result. We seek a forfeit from Nth Sunshine Eagles due to the misconduct of the U14A coach who ref’d the game when the official referee didn’t show. They disallowed our first goal calling it offside 20 seconds later when our boys had already gone back for the kickoff as the Nth Sunshine coach disputed our linesman’s call who was adamant that it was onside. This was blatant cheating. Then they continually pushed our players illegally all game on and off the ball with hands and arms in sour backs with no free kicks. He even gave a free kick against us for a ball that hit our player In the face. Late in the second half our striker went to go one on one with the keeper and was shoved in the back with a forearm, a clear penalty and red card and the ref just said what you want a penalty for a push in the back. I said yes as it is a clear foul. Today’s match was a disgrace and we have lost all faith in these cheats. Send them to the match review panel for misconduct and suspend the 14A coach for a week. The game commenced 20mins late and we were on the oval waiting for the kickoff at 1.40pm. They came onto the field at 1.55pm. We advised them that we didn’t want to sign the match record.
