First Referee told coaches no slide tackling during the game. Within 15 minutes of the first half 2 incidents occurred with the same player (13) from Westside Strikers Frank slide tackling 2 players from Sydenham. Stephen (Sydenham coach) questioned the breaking of the agreed rule the ref had specified of no slide tackling. He approached Stephen swearing on the field and aggressively pushed him. The situation became escalated with Westside Strikers marshals and team management not fully comprehending what had occurred. It was an unnecessary and unpleasant altercation for all involved.
