Official Match Report

The u13 girls welcomed Noble Park United to JL Murphy reserve. Player unavailability saw us call on Lucette and Emily (u12) and Lottie (u11) for support, with all 3 showing their undoubted ability in this higher age group.Parkers took the lead through a Lucette goal, before the visitors equalised to make it 1-1. A great strike from Lottie came back off the crossbar to see the teams level at the break. A good contest turned the way of the visitors in the second half as they moved into a 3-1 lead. A Chloe strike gave us hope, after great work from Charlotte and Lucette, and a terrific effort from Olivia unfortunately bounced back off the crossbar to see us end the game with a 3-2 defeat despite late Parkers pressure. There was much to like about the performance today as we continue to regroup following recent player exits. A return to winning ways is surely not far away if we keep working hard in training and for each other. A big well done to all of the girls, and a shoutout to Jeli in particular for taking on goalkeeper duties for the team again and performing so well in the role.
