Official Match Report

The u13 girls faced Langwarrin on a sunny Mother’s Day morning at JL Murphy reserve. With a defeat and a draw in our two games so far, we were looking to kickstart our season with a victory. Parkers dominated from the start scoring 4 goals in the opening 11 minutes through Chloe, Olivia and 2 from Lizzy. The girls put on a powerful display showcasing some of the attacking play we have been working on in training. Alex and Chloe scored again before HT, with a lone goal from the visitors seeing us 6-1 ahead at the break. The second half continued in similar fashion with Parkers continuing to open up the opposition with strong team play. Lizzy added 2 further goals to take her individual tally to 4, with Jeli getting a deserved goal for continuing to take on goalkeeping duties. A fine display ended with a 9-1 victory. Well done to all of the team for their contribution to the first victory of the season.
