First Grade travel to Gipps Rd to take on the strong Holroyd-Parramatta Goanna's at 2:30 whilst the Under 18 have an evening game at Sydney Uni #1 against the students starting at 5 PM. After a tough and winless June, Penrith Rams under new coach Craig Sharp, bounced back to form with an emphatic win over Sydney Hills Eagles. Reserve Grade also registered a fine win over Gosford, finishing their 10 match streak whilst the 18's and Ramettes fell to Sydney Hills Eagles and Southern Power. Match reviews on next page.

Penrith Rams First Grade dropped out of the top five with shock loss to Wests on Saturday. In earlier games, Thirds started the day well with a gutsy win against fourth placed Saints AFC and Reserves posted a solid win against Parramatta to retain third spot. The 18's put in a great display against Wests, despite an honourable loss whilst the Ramettes were proud in their defeat by Sydney Uni.

Div 5 had the bye, whilst the Ramettes ventured to Marrickville and the remaining sides all played at home.
Week 12 kicks off at Greygums Oval on Saturday with First Grade taking on Southern Power, Reserves also facing the Power and Under 18's playing St George in the opening match. Weather played havoc with the weekend's matches, with four of the five games being transferred.
The Rams play all away games this weekend, over three venues, with all games being played on Saturday. Under 18s, Reserve Grade (Div 4) and Senior Grade (Div 1) all travel to Gore Hill Oval to play North Shore. Third Grade (Div 5) makes the trip to the revised venue of Monarch Oval to play UNSW/ES, while the ladies head off to North Dalton Park to take on Wollongong.
Today's matches - Div 1 (Seniors) and Under 18s - have both been called off due to the overnight rain.Both matches have been rescheduled for July 21.

Penrith Rams retained third place on the Division 1 ladder with a third quarter fightback to recorded a six point win over Sydney Hills Eagles. Reserve grade retained the "Riff-Raff" Cup for the sixth time in their 98 win against Nor-West Jets. Third Grade and the 18's both suffered heavy losses against competition leaders UTS and Sydney Hills whist the Ramettes fell to Southern Power on Sunday.
The weekend of footy started well for Penrith with the Reserves securing an early morning win and the Thirds registering their first win of the year in the best possible fashion. The Ramettes put up the most valiant of efforts. Sunday saw the Under 18's unable to match the strength of Pennant Hills but First Grade recording a heart stopping win in the dying minutes. It was a tough day at the office for the Rams on the weekend as they faced the top teams at Greygums Oval. First Grade went down to Manly in first grade, third grade to Sydney Uni and the 18's to Illawarra whilst reserves hit form again against Manly. Two days of football to be decided as Penrith were on the road for five away games. The Ramettes made their long awaited debut with a sensational effort against Auburn at Monarch Oval whilst the Third Grade side were certainly not disgraced in their loss to the UTS Bats at Mahoney Park. Penrith Rams promotion to Div 1 got off to a healthy start despite the narrowest of losses to Macquarie University at Greygums on Saturday. The Warriors hit the lead with four minutes on the clock with Penrith on the attack as the final siren sounded in the heart wrenching one point loss. Reserve Grade earlier showed they will be a force to be reckoned with, easily accounting for the Warriors with a 133 point win to lead the competition but it was a different story in the opening match as the severley undermanned 18's being no match for a strong North Shore Bombers outfit.

Well done to all teams that played today. A convincing win in Reserves to retain the "Riff-Raff" Cup and a good effort by all those at Harrington Park in the thirds despite a loss (The 10 goal second quarter by Camden being the killer). Lots of new players having their first game so it's all upside. The 18's played a trial against Illawarra and were competitive throughout with both teams missing a few players.
Round 1 of the 2012 season kicks off on Saturday. Div 4 kick off their year when they travel to Bensons Lane to take on Nor-West Jets at 10:00 AM whilst Div 5 travel the opposite direction to Harrington Park in the opener against Camden.
