G’day everyone, I am currently updating the strategic plan for the Magpies and would like some feedback/start a conversation on the following set of statements below. What do you think?
OUR PURPOSE – ‘Our WHY’
The inspire, enrich and strengthen the South West Sydney Magpies community by providing a professional and enjoyable community football environment for players and supporters who are determined to succeed in, and through, Sydney AFL.
OUR MISSION
We are here to build a unified, sustainable and trusted football club, play finals and bring premierships back to Rosedale Oval. We are here with the knowledge that we are temporary custodians of the Magpies with a duty to leave this great club in a better place than we found it.
OUR VISION
Our vision is to build on the hard work of players, supporters and committees of the past to establish ourselves as a strong community football club which strives to win premierships and a provide a sustainable platform for growth and ongoing success.
This achievement will be enabled by the best culture in Sydney AFL both on and off the field. This community environment will foster innovation and leadership, be underpinned by our investment in great people, facilities and infrastructure and supported by a constructive relationship with Sydney AFL and the clubs who play with in. We will have the greatest understanding of our players, supporters and junior clubs which will allow us to better engage and service their needs. Our members and supporters will be central to every decision we make. Our culture and behaviors on and off the field will be guided by a simple yet powerful statement –
