Welcome to the History Section of the Penrith Football Club's website.

When Alan Stewart started his long and distinguished association with the then fledgling Penrith club in 1981, he - at the suggestion of club founder Keith Claxton - commenced the process of maintaining extensive records of the club's progress. Players' games played, results, committee members, representative players, club and league awards, etc were all recorded from day one.

All these hand-written records were acquired by Mark Spooner in 1996, and he continued to maintain and add to them whilst at the same time transferring them all to computer.
