This 2nd edition of Ramstats 2016 covers games played on 9th April:
1. Reserve Grade (Div 3) v Wollondilly - Rd 2, at Greygums Oval
2. Third Grade (Div 5) v South-West Sydney - Rd 2, at Greygums Oval
3. Senior Grade (Div 2) v South-West Sydney - Rd 2, at Greygums Oval
NB (1): Quarter by quarter and goalkicking records only exist from 1990 onwards.
NB (2): History v Club records can vary markedly in nature as the divisional structure means clubs may not play each other on the same level
NB (3): Where referred to, "Age Grade" means combined Under 18/19/20 matches for Penrith
GENERAL
* Three sets of brothers played in Senior Grade this weekend. Patrick and Martin Pope, Mitchell and Jayden Stevens and Jake and Zac Pianta.
(I have no idea if it is a record, as I haven't kept records on this!)
* The Rams passed 103,000 points scored in all games (ever!) in the Senior Grade match v S-W Sydney.
RETURNING PLAYERS
Welcome back to the following former Rams players, who did not play for the club in 2015:
1. Shaun Ashman - Third Grade (last played 2014)
2. Luke Dixon - Third Grade (last played 2012)
3. James Stiff - Third Grade (last played 2012)
DEBUTS
Congratulations to the following players who made their debut for the club:
CLUB DEBUTS

SENIOR GRADE DEBUTS

PLAYER MILESTONES
Congratulations to the following players on achieving these individual milestones:
FIRST GOAL FOR CLUB
* Ryan Arber kicked his first goal for the Rams in Third Grade.
FIRST WIN AS COACH

MOST GOALS IN A MATCH FOR CLUB (2 GOALS OR MORE)

* Phil Aumann (Senior Grade) equalled his best of 5 goals for the Rams.
SCORING
SENIOR GRADE
* 13.7 (85) - this was the club's 12th score of 85 points - 11.19 (twice), 12.13 (4) and 13.7 (6). This was the 6th time that Senior Grade has kicked this score.
The Rams have won 10 times kicking this score!!
RESERVE GRADE
* 6.5 (41) - this was the club's 31st score of 41 points - 5.11 (ten times), 6.5 (21). This was the 11th time that Reserve Grade has kicked this score.
This is the most common score kicked by the Rams, 5 ahead of its nearest rival, but on the positive side at least the club has been largely accurate when kicking it!
Penrith has actually won twice kicking this score - thanks to the Under 18s and the Ramettes!
THIRD GRADE
* 4.5 (29) - this was the club's 21st score of 29 points - 3.11 (twice) and 4.5 (19). This was the third time that Third Grade has kicked this score.
Amazingly, the Rams have won twice kicking this score - thanks to Reserve Grade (in horrendously windy conditions at the Gong in 1999) and also, again, to the Ladies - in their epic win over Auburn in the Preliminary Final last year.
WINNING MARGINS
SENIOR GRADE
* 34 points - this was the club's 8th win by 34 points and the third by Senior Grade.
VENUES
GREYGUMS STADIUM
* The Rams' spiritual home.
* This was Reserve Grade's 175th game at Greygums - for 75 wins, 99 losses and 1 win by protest. The Ressies have also won 11 games there by forfeit. (4 matches abandoned).
* It was Senior Grade's 204th game at Greygums - for 101 wins, 102 losses and 1 win by protest. Seniors have also won 5 games by forfeit. (4 matches abandoned).
* And it was Third Grade's 29th game at Greygums, for 16 wins and 13 losses. Plus 2 wins by forfeit (1 match abandoned).
* The club's overall record at the Fortress is (drum roll): 548 games, for 258 wins, 2 wins by protest/other, 272 losses, 1 loss by protest/other, 2 draws and 13 abandoned. The Rams have also won 38 games by forfeit.

RANDOM TRIVIA
* The Rams debut season was 1981 and only one side was fielded - in the then Sydney District Football Association Reserve Grade competition.
The club's opening two games that season were against Manly-Warringah and Macquarie Uni - which the Rams won. But because the club was formed at short notice, some unregistered players were played in each game and the matches were recorded as forfeits against the Rams.
Despite this, the side recovered and made the finals, only to get knocked out in the Preliminary Final by Bankstown Sports.
