A history making week for the Penrith Rams with all five teams sealing finals spots in the 2015 BLK Sydney AFL Competition.
With four teams already confirmed, it was up to first grade to attempt to obtain the clean sweep and by the start of their match, after North Shore had grabbed fifth spot earlier in the day, it was the season on the line as Penrith needed to topple minor premiers, Camden Cats, who were shooting for their fifteenth consecutive win. On a brilliant winter’s day at Greygums Oval, the Rams grabbed an early lead with a wind assistance and were never headed to record a 24 point win and in doing so, took the final spot in the five to progress to next week's elimination final. Doubles by Ben McGovern, Lachie Smith, Dan McDonald and Michael Denton and a BOG performance by veteran Jay Edwards were catalysts for the victory whilst Under 19's player Jack Bragg was outstanding. It was a bittersweet victory however with the electrifying youngster, Ben Mayer being stretchered off the field and seeing his season come to an end, facing the surgeon's knife this week.

In an amazing final quarter, they booted the final six majors to come away with a twelve point victory against their long-time rivals. Ben Robinson booted four, Jon Green was outstanding with the "P" team of Matt Purse, Matt Payne, Marty Pope and Patrick Pope all put in big performances.

With the 19's receiving their fifth forfeit of the year, they consolidated third spot and will face Moorebank in the semi-finals in a fortnight’s time.

It was one way traffic after that, with Blacktown unable to match the magic of the Ramettes as they went on to record a big 42 point victory. Renee "Tonka Truck" Tomkins was brilliant all over the ground, supported by Kim Butler, Steph Kostic and late inclusion, Justine Vella, whilst Kayla Badger (3) and Jessie Burnham (2) were the multiple goalkickers for the Ramettes.
