The Ramettes made the trip to Gosford confident of a win against a side that had not beaten them to date in competition football. They came up against a much stronger side than they had previously encountered however, and also found conditions to be heavy and difficult. As a result it was a tight game with never anything between the sides. And it was Gosford who emerged victorious by 7 points.

Inaccurate kicking for goal hampered Reserve Grade early. A dogged Gosford stuck with the Rams until the final term, when 4 goals to 1 saw the visitors run away with victory. The three spearheads - Shelley, Robinson and Stevens - kicked three goals each.

Blacktown came to Greygums Stadium unbeaten and on top of the ladder and appeared confident of things staying that way. Unfortunately for them, the Rams Senior Grade had different idea. The Magic looked good at the outset and the Rams struggled to match them in the first half. But 7 straight goals after half-time saw the locals run out to a comfortable 5 goal win.

Under 19s also defeated Balmain on forfeit - 120 points "for" received.
