SCORING AND MARGINS
SCORING
* Senior Grade's score of 9.11 (65) was the 7th 65 point score in the history of the club (2*9.11, 5*10.5). The last time the club kicked this score was also the only time it has gained a win for the club (by the Under 18s in 2013 vs Balmain).
* Reserve Grade's score of 19.8 (122) was the 7th 122 point score in the history of the club (4*18.14, 2*19.8 and 1*20.2). Unsurprisingly the club has never lost with this score. Its last instance was the Under 18s' remarkable 20.2 (122) vs East Sydney in 1998.
* Third Grade's score of 11.8 (74) was the club's 15th score of 74 (4*10.14, 10*11.8, 1*12.2). The score has served Penrith well, winning 9 times. The last instance it occurred was in 2013 when Third Grade lost to Moorebank.
MARGINS
* Third Grade recorded the club's 11th one point win (4 by Senior Grade, 3 by Reserve Grade, 2 by Age Grade, 1 by Third Grade and 1 by the Ramettes). The most recent instances were in 2013, when the Ramettes defeated Southern Power and the Under 18s defeated Holroyd-Parramatta, both at Greygums Oval.
* Reserve Grade recorded the clubs 5th 62 point win (1 by Senior Grade, 2 by Reserve Grade and 2 by Age Grade). The last time this occurred was way back in the 2001 Under 18s Grand Final, when the Rams defeated Manly-Warringah.
VENUES
* Third Grade's game at Greygums Oval was the 466th game the Rams have played (ie excluding forfeits and abandoned matches) across all grades at their home ground. The Rams' playing record is 2 draws, 213 wins and 251 losses.
* The games at Blacktown ISP No 2 takes the tally of games played by the Rams there to seven. (3 in 2012, 2 in 2013 and 2 in 2014). The Rams' playing record is 3 wins and 4 losses.
RELATIONS
* The latest players to join the father/son club at the Rams are Mitch and David Stevens. Mitch made his debut for the club on Sunday (above), while his father David played for Penrith and Penrith-St Clair in 2003 and 2004.
TEAMS
SENIOR GRADE
* Senior Grade lost its first game to Pennant Hills in 9 meetings. Pennant Hills' score of 10.7 (67) is its highest against the Rams Senior Grade.
* Senior Grade lost its seventh match by 6 points or less (3 in 2012, 3 in 2013 and 1 this season) since entering First Division in 2012 (the highest grade of football that the club has competed in). In comparison, it has won 2 games by six points or less in the same period.
RESERVE GRADE
* The Rams Reserve Grade played Pennant Hills for the first time. The Rams have now played Pennant Hills in all four male grades.
* Reserve Grade has now competed against 28 different clubs in their history.
THIRD GRADE
* Third Grade met Blacktown for the third time. The playing record now stands at 2 wins to the Rams and one to Blacktown.
* The Rams' 11.8 (74) and Blacktown's 10.13 (73) are the two clubs' highest score against each other in the three matches.
* Third Grade's third quarter of 4.3 (27) was its best quarter against Blacktown. The Rams also recorded their best first and last quarters against Blacktown.
* Since its re-establishment in 2012, this is the first time that Third Grade has won its first game of the season.
GENERAL
* The weekend's games were only the 9th, 10th and 11th games the club has played in the month of March. The Div 1 and Div 3 games were the first ever Sunday games in March. The first year the club played a game in March was 1982 (on the 20th, the earliest date the Rams have ever played a competition match), with the most recent year being 2012.
