Third Grade (Div 5)
After having the winning streak shattered by Camden the previous week, Third Grade were looking to get back on the winners list against the struggling Moorebank. And they had every reason to be confident, having knocked off the Magpies easily earlier in the season. The first half was dominated by a gale towards the clubhouse end, with each side kicking six goals with their turn with the advantage. After the weather settled, the second half proved a closer tussle, with the Rams looking like holding on early in the final term. But the visitors shocked the boys with five unanswered goals to run all over them for a 12 point win.
