The Penrith Rams notched their third consecutive win with a 26 point victory over Macquarie Uni at University Oval. A fast start saw the Rams skip away to an early 17 point lead at quarter time, however the second term was to be a carbon copy of the previous week, with Penrith dominating the play only to come up with minor scores as they extended the margin to 22 points at half-time. The Rams rediscovered their range in the third term, three goals to two seeing them take a 27 point lead into three-quarter time before the yips again resurfaced in the last which saw yet another chance for a percentage booster lost as they finished with 8.14 for the afternoon.
Under 18's player Pat Pope put in an outstanding display and he was well supported by Nathan Wright, Jay Edwards and James Yates. Dale Chivas, Jake Pianta, Matt Lewis and another Under 18s' player in James Devlin each shared the goalkicking honours with two.
The Reserves posted a strong 99 point victory over the Warriors in Division 4 as they look ahead to their finals campaign. Jake Sultana was Penrith's best, with Mark Batten, Max McNamara and Mitch Reinhard continuing their good form. Blake Roberts and Tayt Corless each finished off the good work up the ground to finish with four goals.
Division 5 went down to Saints AFC by 14 points in their clash at Pioneers Park. Despite having more scoring shots, the Rams could not quite get over the line in what was an even tussle. James Stiff, Michael Brown and Justin Weller played strongly, with Ben Priest and Michael Bishop each kicking two goals.
The Ramettes finished their first season in the Womens' competition with a 115 point defeat to Wollongong at Henson Park. Despite not posting a win for the year, the girls can hold their heads up high, with strong numbers each week and a massive improvement from the first game to the last. Haley Short, Nat Camilleri and April Green were Penrith's best.
