General
* Rams Senior Grade played St George for the first time ever in Senior Football. Prior to this game, the only contests between Penrith and St George had been in Under 18 football.
* However, it was not the first time Penrith had played Senior Football at Olds Park. Reserve Grade played Penshurst twice there in 1993 and Senior Grade played Heathcote there in 1993 and Penshurst in 1994.
* Reserve Grade's bye was the 97th bye in the Penrith club's history.
* The Rams Under 18s haven't played St George since 17th June, 2006 at Greygums Oval. They haven't played them at Olds Park since 20th August, 2005.
Players
* Dale Chivas kicked his fourth five goal or better haul this season. Jason Bradley has three, and he has been joined by Tim Cummins. Tayt Corless has managed two, while Ben Robinson and Ben McGovern have one each.
* For the fourth time this season, we saw dual 5 goal efforts in one match:
Res Grade, Round 9 - vs Nor-West Jets - J Bradley 6, T Corless 5
Senior Grade, Round 3 - vs Manly-Warringah - D Chivas 5, T Cummins 5
Senior Grade, Round 8 - vs Manly-Warringah - B Robinson 6, D Chivas 5
Senior Grade, Round 4 - vs St George - T Cummins 7, D Chivas 6
Teams
* Senior Grade recorded its 200th all-time win (190 on-field, 8 by forfeit and 2 by protest)
* The Under 18s' loss vs St George breaks the 18s' longest winning sequence against that club, which was two matches (from 15/6/06 to 11/8/06).
* The Under 18s kicked 3.7 (25) for the second time against St George - the other time being 22nd June, 1996 at Greygums Oval.
Margins and Scores
* Senior Grade managed the equal highest number of behinds in a quarter by a Penrith side in 2011 (7, in the final term). This equalled Senior Grade's third term of 7.7 (49) against Nor-West Jets the previous week at Dukes Oval.
* And Senior Grade managed the second highest number of behinds in a game by a Penrith side in 2011, behind Reserve Grade's 20.23 (143) against Auburn in Round 7 at Greygums Oval.
* And Senior Grade also managed the second highest score in a game by a Penrith side in 2011, again behind Reserve Grade's 20.23 (143) against Auburn in Round 7 at Greygums Oval.
* Senior Grade managed its second highest winning margin in 2011, behind the 97 point win against Nor-West Jets at Dukes Oval the previous weekend.
* Senior Grade's second term of 6.3 (39) was the fourth highest in the club this season (3 of which have been by Senior Grade).
* Senior Grade's 88 point win was only the second 88 point win in the club's history. The previous one came on 21st April, 2001 when the Under 18s defeated Nor-West Jets by 88 points at Bensons Lane.
* Senior Grade kicked the 7th 123 point score in the club's history - 2*17.21 and 5*18.15 - all resulting in wins. The first came on 26th May, 1991 at Greygums Oval vs Merrylands in Senior Grade (with a very similar scoreline - Penrith 18.15-123 d Merrylands 5.5-35), whilst the most recent was last season - 26th June, 2010 Reserve Grade vs Holroyd-Parramatta at Gipps Road.
* Under 18 Grade kicked the 11th 25 point score in the club's history - 8*3.7 and 3*4.1 - all resulting in losses. The first came on 19th May, 1984 at Sales Park vs Sutherland in Senior Grade, whilst the most recent (surprisingly, given the strength of the club in recent seasons) was last season - 24th April, 2010 Reserve Grade vs Auburn at Blacktown Olympic Park.
