The Rams Under 18s won a tight contest against the East Coast Eagles at Greygums Oval on Saturday.
The boys found themselves behind the eight-ball at the end of the opening term, with their opponents holding a two goal lead.
However, the lead had been turned around by half-time and this set the stage for a tight second half.
The Rams could not shake the persistent Eagles and it was a real tug-of-war as to who could maintain ascendancy.
In the end it was Penrith who ran out eight point winners - well done to the side on a terrific win!
Final scores were: Penrith 8.13 (61) d East Coast Eagles 8.5 (53)
Goals: H. Mulligan 2, J. Anasis 2, C. Jaworski, R. Johnson, S. Turner, K. McDonagh
Best: D. Siljanoski, N. Perry, B. Robinson, J. Anasis, L. Gippel, K. McDonagh
