The
senior clash saw Penrith start solidly despite conceding a 13 point
deficit at quarter time. The second and third terms proved to be the
Rams undoing though, with the Warriors capitalising on the home side's
errors to boot nine goals to two and take a commanding 58 point lead
into the final change. At this point the Rams started to fire, putting
together five goals of their own and reducing the final margin to 46
points.
Best players for
Penrith were captain Grant Berry and Justin Brock through the middle,
whilst David Cummings booted three goals. Coach Lachlan Smith will take
heart from his sides much improved final quarter going into the coming
weeks.

entertaining match. The game was evenly matched throughout but it was
the visitors who made the most of their opportunities and the score was
not a refelection of the closeness of the match. In the end it was the
Warriors recording a 56 point win.
