Match Report
Reserve grade had a big win on the weekend against the bottom placed
Camden. Mark Jackson got the team off to a great start to the game by
kicking the first goal within a minute of the opening bounce. From then
on, Camden were never in the game, with the Rams winning contests all
around the ground with every player putting in a great effort. Jason
Bradley was awarded the coaches award after kicking 10 goals, with the
last one coming after the final siren. Others to have great games
were Daniel Corboy, Dale Perry and David Cummings who were all standouts
and getting plenty of possessions around the ground. Shane Turner
and Josh Anasis combined well in the ruck by providing first options to
their onballers and also getting plenty of it themselves. Christian
Knight also proved a handfull for the Camden team by getting plenty of
possessions out of the centre.
After a 9 goal straight opening quarter, the Rams went on for a 70
piont victory, despite some dubious decisions by the official umpire
throughout the game.
