General
* When the Southern Sharks unfortunately had to forfeit against the Rams on the weekend, it was the 48th time that a club has forfeited a match against Penrith. On the other hand, the Rams have forfeited a comparatively meagre 16 games in their entire 30 year history (of which 2 were the club's first two matches, due to insufficient players being registered at very short notice) - out of 1169 result-producing matches.
* When Senior Grade took on Campbelltown in Round 2, it was the first time that the two clubs had contested a senior match since 15th August, 1981 when the Rams defeated Campbelltown in the First Semi-Final in the club's very first season. (The Rams have played Campbelltown in Under 18 football in four different seasons however).
* By winning all three grades on Saturday, it was the 17th occasion the club has achieved this (in years the club has fielded three separate grades naturally).
Players
* Congratulations to the following players who made their debut for the club in this round:
Reserve Grade (3)
Anthony Edwards, Michael Gapps, Seltene Yohannes.
* Congratulations to Lachlan Smith on kicking his 50th goal for the club.
Teams
* Senior Grade's win against Campbelltown made it four wins out of four in senior football against the Blues.
* Their final score of 19.11 (125) and winning margin of 106 points were both records against Campbelltown in any grade. Campbelltown's score of 3.1 (19) was its lowest against Penrith in any grade.
* Their final score was the first time any Penrith side had kicked 125 points in a match. Their winning margin was the first time a Penrith side had won a match by that margin.
* Reserve Grade's winning margin of 27 points remarkably was the first time a Penrith side has ever won a match by that margin.
* There are now only three margins that the Rams have not won a game by up to and including 100 points: 71, 90 and 94. (Senior grade went so close in Round 1, winning by 72 points!).
* Now that 125 is out of the way, the following final scores between 100 and 150 are still to be achieved: 130, 132, 137, 141, 143, 144 & 148.
* Up to 100, the only final scores not achieved are 0.4 (4) and 0.5 (5) and the club is in no hurry to get them out of the way either! (In contrast, opposition sides have scored every score from 0 to 100, including 0.4 and 0.5).
