Jim Wright from Penrith is this weeks Volunteer of the Week.
Jim played many years of senior football in Sydney for Newtown, Southern Districts, Bankstown & Mt Druitt.
He has since been involved with the Rams for a number of years through the involvement of his son Nathan.
Jim has undertaken a variety of roles over this time, and is a past winner of the “Club Person of the Year” award. He currently acts as the club’s goal umpire and can also be found at training each week performing duties as a specialist ruck coach.
Jim is always the first person to put his hand up to assist with any job that needs doing and is the last person to seek out any credit, and his efforts are hugely appreciated by everyone at the Rams.
What makes this even more meritorious is that Jim continues to put considerable time and effort into the club despite the fact that his son Nathan has been playing Premier Division football with Pennant Hills for the past three years
