Nathan Breen takes out the McFarlane Medal (Division Three Best and Fairest)
Pennant Hills player Nathan Breen has taken out the 2016 McFarlane Medal after a successful season on Monday night at Doltone House.
Nathan, who is 26 years old won a close run race finishing the year with 21 votes, three votes ahead of Mitchell Crowe from the Nor-West Jets. Breen played 18 games in Division Three this season where he polled eight times, including an incredible 6 best on ground performances where he received the three votes. Nathan had some great purple patches this year such as between Rounds 3, 4 and 5 where he received 9 votes out of a possible 9. This is Nathan’s 10th year at the club and has celebrated in style by celebrating a fine year.
Mitchell Crowe from the Nor-West Jets finished second on 18 votes and Russel Andrews from the Wollondilly Knights finished the year on 16 votes.
