AFL Sydney Round 16 Rising Star Dean Meadows (Manly Warringah)

AFL Sydney is pleased to announce that the 2016 Round 16 Rising Star is Dean Meadows from the Manly Warringah Giants.

Dean is a local junior from Pittwater Tigers who has come through the Under 18 and 19's. He has had strong season and has strung a number of consistent and high quality games together; where he has often bagged 3 or more goals.

Dean has become an important cog in the forward line; where he has proved a difficult match up because of his mix of speed, agility and safe pair of hands in a grab. He is a leading goal kicking for the Premier team and is still continuing to improve each week – which augurs well for the future.
