Women's Round 11 Rising Star Kassandra Chan (Wollongong Saints)

AFL Sydney is pleased to announce the Round 11 Women's Rising Star is Kassandra Chan from the Wollongong Saints.

The third sister of the affectionately dubbed 'Chan Clan', Kassie Chan has joined the Saints in 2016 as a ruthless forward pocket. Her experience from playing juniors with Northern Districts Tigers has helped her understand positional play through the centres and back line, however her love is up in the forward line, playing off Kate Stanton and Aleisha Chessell, and helping them boost the goal kicking averages.

You can regularly see Kassie taking on girls twice her size in the league and coming out on top. A true testament to the Saints coaching and development she undertakes on a weekly basis.
