AFL Sydney Round 10 Rising Star James Cubis (North Shore Bombers)

AFL Sydney is pleased to announce that the 2016 Round 10 Rising Star is James Cubis from the North Shore Bombers.

James is one of the many former Riverview juniors at North Shore and he was also a Swans Academy and NSW Rams player before joining North Shore.

James was a key member of North Shore's 2015 under 19 premiership team and was promoted to the Premier Division side after a series of strong under 19's performances in the first part of this season.

His good form has continued in Premier Division, being named in the best 3 times in the 4 games he has played since his inclusion in round 7, and he played well again in helping North Shore to secure the win against Western Suburbs on Saturday.

James is a skillful and versatile player who looks set to be part of the re-emergence of North Shore as a power in Premier Division.
