The AFL Sydney Women’s Representative squad has been selected to take on AFL Canberra over the June long weekend.
The selectors have picked a strong 34 player squad that will take on Canberra at Gunghalin Enclosed Oval in the ACT on Saturday 11th June. In 2015 there was two clashes between AFL Sydney and AFL Canberra with each side coming away with one win, meaning the AFL Sydney squad will be looking to come away with a comprehensive win in 2016
Stu Newman will be coaching the side for his second year in 2016 and he will be assisted by Maddy Collier and Christian Kunde.
The squad commenced training this week and will have a subsequent two sessions before heading to the ACT over the Queen’s birthday weekend aiming to come away with the win.
