AFL Sydney is pleased to announce that the 2016 Round 2 Rising Star is James Loneragan from North Shore Bombers.
James, the classy Bombers 18 year old, was best on ground and an instrumental part of North Shore's win against UNSW Eastern Suburbs on Saturday.
James is a product of the Riverview Junior program and was part of North Shore's 2015 under 19 Division 1 premiership team.
North Shore coach Ryan Meldrum says "It has been great to see James transition from an 19’s premiership and best on ground in the grand final to being part of our run on side for the first game of the year. Through the pre-season James has worked hard on his game to continue to improve and develop. We look forward to seeing James and our other talented young players make an impact when they have the opportunity to this year."
