Pennant Hill's Matt Carey will captain the side as he did in 2013 while East Coast's Andrew McConnell will be his deputy.
Not surprisingly East Coast and Manly-Warringah have the best representation in the team with 6 players each while 7 of the 9 Premier Division clubs are represented.
The side will again be coached by Roger Moten and he will be assisted by Jon Hayres (North Shore), Terry Mudge (St George) and Tony Overall (Sydney University).
Following a dominant victory last year, AFL Sydney is expecting a much tougher match this year with the changes to the NEAFL structure which saw two Canberra NEAFL sides return to AFL Canberra. Canberra have named a very strong side including James and Lexi Bennett as well as Chris York from Belconnen along with extremely dangerous Queanbeyan forward Brett Fruend.
The teams are again playing for the Carter-Jesaulenko shield.
First bounce is at 2:10pm and for those who cant attend the match the action will be streamed live at www.youtube.com/aflsydneylive
This match is part of a big weekend of representative football action with both AFL Sydney v AFL Canberra and Black Diamond v Sydney / Canberra 22's matches played at the same venue.
