2015 AFL Sydney competition dates

Wednesday night saw the 2015 Planning Meeting with a number of decisions made by clubs on the 2015 competitions.

Below are the dates for the various competitions start dates:

Men's competitions - 10-12 April

Under 19's competitions - 10-12 April

Women's competitions - 17-19 April

Discussion also took place on clubs preferred Grand Final dates. Clubs preference was for Premier Division Grand Finals to be played on Saturday 26th September and Lower Divisions including Women's Division One the weekends prior however this is subject to ground availability which is being confirmed. If grounds are unavailable the Premier Division Grand Final will be played on Saturday 19th September.

Assuming ground availability is confirmed for 26th September, Grand Final dates will be as follows:

Saturday 26th September

Premier Division, Division One and Under 19's Division One and Two

Saturday 19th September

Women's Division One and Men's Division Two - Four

Sunday 13th September

Men's Division Five and Women's Division Two

Draft fixtures will be released to clubs prior to Christmas with final fixtures confirmed in January.
