“SUANFC is hosting a junior AFL camp on the 23 or 24 of September (weather pending).
The goal of the camp is to up skill the local junior footballers through specifically designed drills and integrated match play. The camp has been designed by SUANFC NEAFL player and Development coach, Tom Morrison.
Tom will be bringing on board current SUANFC NEAFL Footballers (many of whom are ex-AFL footballers) as coaches to develop the kids skills through fun drills and modified games. There will also be a match playing component to the day where the kids can look to apply what they have learnt in a match environment, while gaining tactical and technical feedback from their coaches throughout.
There will be a few giveaways for the kids and some Sydney Swans players will be in attendance in the afternoon (understandably, who and how many we get will depend on what happens during their finals campaign).
