9- Leigh Conway
Club: Western Suburbs
Previous: East Fremantle (WAFL) 2005-09, Kellerberrin/Tammin FC (Avon FL) 2010, South Bunbury (South West FL) 2011, Balmain 2012-13
Age: 27
Position: Wing
Analysis:
The third Magpie in the top 20, Conway has a noted football pedigree highlighted by his 47 games with WAFL club, East Fremantle.
A prized addition to the AFL Sydney competition when he moved to Balmain in 2012, his size and speed is arguably best suited to a rebounding half back and wing role.
A great user of the football who is often part of an attacking chain, Conway also has the potential to kick goals; with his records showing he has kicked a very impressive 155 goals in 200 games (Colts and above).
A perennial member of the AFL Sydney Team of the Year, Conway has a smart football brain where he was a playing coach at Balmain before making the move to the Magpies this season where he assists Kevin Eynaud.
