Analysis:
There is no doubting the talent of Stephen Wray.
He is very versatile and has speed allowing him to play both forward and back and for periods through the midfield.
When on his game, he is one of the most dangerous players in the game.
He has spent time on a NSW Scholarship with the Sydney Swans where Academy Manager, Chris Smith said "Stephen has an all round athletic ability; speed, endurance, great skills and sound competitive instincts."
He has played over 30 games with the Swans Reserves side such is how highly is regarded by the powerhouse club which has former Demons players Kieran Jack and Jarrad McVeigh on their list.
With this said, despite not playing a full season with the Demons, he currently sits soundly in second on the Premier Division goal kicking list behind Brayden Fowler.
